Using Stealth Genie – Judging the Authenticity of their Claims

There are all sorts of reasons why people need to use cell phone monitoring apps, and if you are looking around deciding which one you should go for then you would definitely be well aware of how you intend to use it. Using it to your advantage is not much of an issue as opposed to how well it works. Finding the perfect App on the other hand can be a bit of turmoil since actual usage varies a lot from what is advertised. This is why we have reviewed a monitoring app named Stealth Genie to give people a clearer picture of what it is capable of and how it performs in real world situations.

Compatibility and Installation

Stealth Genie is compatible with 3 platforms such as the Android OS, the Apple iOS, and the BlackBerry OS. Most major version of these platforms are supported and since it is not that resource heavy it works silently in the background without raising any alarm or risk of detection.

We installed this app on a Jail broken iPhone since this app needs to be installed from a different source. Installation was not that hard and hardly took more than 8 minutes. All that was required was to copy paste a couple of URLs and dial an activation code. Once installation was complete, we had to give it around 40 minutes for it to sync with Stealth Genie servers.

Using Stealth Genie

Once that was done and over with we logged on to the member area from Stealth Genie’s website where we were greeted with the Dash Board. You get a summary of the total number of call made/received as well as the SMS that were sent/received. In addition you get the current location of the device along with how much storage you have left (you get 1GB of storage).

Now basically there are three main sections that you are most likely to use and they include Logs, Triggers & Alerts, and Remote Control. Let’s go over each of them to give you an idea of how things work.

Logs

This will be the most frequented section as it includes all the cell phone data including WhatsApp conversations, Emails, Contacts, Surround Recordings, Location and a lot more. You will see an option for call recording but that option is no longer available and needless to say it does not work. There are numerous other options as well and they work without fail. In particular we tried to see how effective it was at tracking using the Geo Tracking option. To our surprise it worked really well when the device was connected to the internet, however, if all connections were turned off we got the data once the device was connected to the internet. However, even then the locational data was correct, complete with addresses and the time and date.

Triggers & Alerts

If you want the monitoring to be done in auto pilot you can use this feature and add in keywords that will trigger alerts so you can take a look at the things that seem to be suspicious.

Remote Control

This can be immense helpful if the targeted device has been stolen or has been misplaced, you will be able to lock the device, wipe out all the data, and even create an online backup.

Conclusion

Stealth Genie has a number of subscription packages that go as low as $8 a month, it has a number of impressive features that all seem to work provided your device is connected to the internet for more than 60% of the time. Since internet is its main method of communication it is essential that there is ample internet connectivity for you to get the monitoring data in good time. From amongst other cell phone monitoring apps Stealth Genie sure does come at a good price with some really useful features.
